Ronnie Ainslie my dad died of cancer on november 7th 2006 he was 77yrs old,he spent his working life
at neeb in sunderland where he lived all his life.He left behind two daughters Susan and Janet and
two sons Ronnie his namesake and michael,he has 12 grandchildren and 8 great grand children.Iloved
my dad but when he remarried we were stopped from seeing him i used to bump into him and we would
talk he said he just wanted to keep the peace,i never got to say good-bye to him but i did go to his
funeral,the song he picked was When Your Smiling so when i hear it it makes me smile to.He loved his
green house and his tomatoes were yummy,bet he is still growing them,i wasnt in his life for many
years he never knew my two children Kirsty who is now 25 and my son Jonathan who is now 23 which was
hard for us to cope with.Ihave many memories of him and no one can take them away from me,i have
lots of photos of him,i think its sad when parents split up then remarry and thier new spouse forbid
them from seeing thier children,then let thier new friends think we dont excist but i knew he was my
dad and he knew he had children and if this is the only way i can talk to him then so be it.

thinking of you today dad,love you and miss you,wish I couldve said good bye before you fell asleep.xx
